Scrumpiricism: Scrum Framework - A Practitioner's Perspective

Scrum Framework: A Scrum Practitioner's Perspective

Practitioner's Notes:

Empiricism is the soul and one of the most beautiful characteristics of Scrum. Scrum practiced without empiricism is definitely not Scrum. That is, Scrum minus Empiricism = Anything but Scrum! A great organizational culture leads to great Scrum. And, Scrum, practiced correctly, leads to a great organizational culture. Scrum helps immensely in building and strengthening an Ownership Culture in an organization. Agile Maturity is a journey from application of a methodology to attainment of a mindset. And, a journey takes time. Not only do learning and unlearning take time, but learning to unlearn also definitely does.

Again, Scrum, practiced correctly in the context of a great organizational culture, results in a significant increase in (1) the value delivered to the stakeholders and (2) the satisfaction derived by the Scrum Team from the work that it does.
